Most freight companies learn clearance last. We learned it first, which is why our declarations tend to go through without amendment and our clients tend not to pay storage they did not budget for.
Today Avia Cargo Services covers the full movement: booking space at origin, consolidating multi-supplier purchases, moving cargo by air or sea into Malé, clearing it through Maldives Customs and delivering it across Greater Malé or out to the atolls. The same coordinator stays on your file the whole way.
We work with resort groups mid-refurbishment, contractors on island sites, wholesalers restocking before the season, and families importing a single pallet of household goods. The scale changes. The standard does not.
Where we started
A small clearing desk in Malé handling customs declarations for local importers who were tired of demurrage they did not cause.
How we grew
Importers asked us to take the freight as well. We built origin agent relationships in Colombo, Dubai and South China, then added weekly consolidation.
Where we are now
Air and sea freight, consolidation, brokerage, warehousing and island distribution, run by one team from a single office in Malé.
